Sundays, October 8, 15 & 22. When asked what the greatest commandment was, Jesus replied, "Love the Lord your God..., and love others as yourself." What would our homes, our church, our community, our world look like if we gave ourselves freshly to this priority for our lives? How do we practically love this way without getting overwhelmed at the enormity of this mandate? Let's ask God to enlarge our hearts as we pursue Great Commandment love together, just as Jesus and his early disciples did.

FUEL is a ministry of Evergreen Church-Lakeville. We ship nutritious food for malnourished children to our sister churches in Honduras, where they distribute the food along with the Gospel in their communities. We raise all the funds needed to pack and ship food through donations, the Cafe (located downstairs), and through Scrip Card Sales. A percentage of every Scrip Card sold goes toward FUEL. It does not cost you anything extra. We sell gas cards throughout the year but for the Christmas season, we are adding the pre-selling of many types of gift cards that may be given as presents or used to buy presents for the holiday season. Orders may be placed at the Welcome Center through October 29. The cards will be delivered by November 19. Questions? Contact Kathy Lathrop at email@example.com.

Speaker: Pastor Mark Darling
It is critical to the health of our church, marriages and relationships that we LOVE BETTER. God created us to connect deeply, not only with Him, but to other people. We all have a longing to be loved and to be understood. However, many Christian leaders have not developed the emotional ability, or skills to connect deeply with others. We have missed out on the power of compassion and this has adversely affected our ability to emotionally connect and deepen our intimacy with others.
At this seminar, you'll learn how to:
If we grow in our ability to connect emotionally to people, then our impact on others will be richer and greater! Truly, this is valuable Small Group & Ministry Leader content!
